Not only does she follow our instructions to the letter, she provides helpful tips about training new puppies (feeding, house breaking) and gives tips about safety concerns she reads about in the news that might relate to our dog.

She never stops caring! We know our dog is in good hands because she sends us regular text updates and pictures. Nicky gets plenty of walks and snuggles! He seems so happy and cared for in the pictures Caitlin sends. We can trust her in our home, which is always returned in better shape than we left it.

Caitlin has not only house sat for us several times, and walks Nipper on a weekly basis, she came to our rescue by picking up Nipper from doggy daycare when we were both stranded in the city.

“To capture who Caitlin is: She dog sat our pups for a week when we were away. Upon our return we found a note next to a large bowl on our counter filled with quarters reading: “I’m so sorry but I had to borrow six quarters for parking. I will pay you back tomorrow.” There is no way we would have had any clue that six quarters were borrowed and had no issue Caitlin needed them for parking. But that’s who she is, genuine, conscientious and has a sweet confidence about her. She is so attentive to our pups. They are always happy to see her. We have complete peace of mind when they’re in her care.

“I first met Caitlin in fall of 2017. I was starting a new Job in Virginia but would be commuting until early in the New Year. I am the primary dog care giver so I was searching for someone I trusted with our then 13 ½ lab and 9 year old doodle.

When I started searching I found Caitlin and it just seemed perfect. She had just moved from DC/VA to an area less than 5 minutes from our house. She clearly loved dogs and had cared for senior pups which was a criteria for me. It was a match made in heaven for all of us. She covered both daily walks and weekend pet sitting for those times we were travelling back and forth between locations. Both dogs adored her. I loved her multiple checks in with pictures to let me know how things were going.

She had great instincts and I knew she could handle my senior lab if need be. She was incredibly flexible with our crazy schedule and always upbeat and professional. After the first pet sitting engagement the dogs ran to the door and greeted her exuberantly. I always say dogs are a good judge of character … and they chose Caitlin. The only downside is she didn’t move back to DC/VA so we could continue using her services☺.”
